Conversation sessions

Talk Spanish, one on one

60 minutes with a Latanish teacher from Latin America, about what matters to you: your job, your neighbors, your plans, the news. At your level, at the hour that suits you.

  • 60 minutes
  • Just you and your teacher
  • Online or in person
  • Any level

How it works

Three steps to your first conversation

  1. 1 Choose a package

One, four or eight sessions. We email you how to pay, and your sessions appear in your account.

  2. 2 Pick a teacher and an hour

Teachers publish the hours they’re free. Choose the one that suits you, online or in person.

  3. 3 Talk

Tell your teacher what you’d like to practice, or just talk. Need to change plans? Cancel up to 24 hours before and the session comes back to you.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need to be a Latanish student?

No. Anyone can book conversation sessions. If you’re in Nuestra Gente, our small-group classes, they’re a great extra: log in and open Conversation.

What level do I need?

Any. Your teacher adapts to you, from your first words to fluent conversation.

What do we talk about?

Whatever helps you most: situations from your work or your community, a topic you like, or something you’re preparing for. When you book, you can tell your teacher what you’d like to practice.

Online or in person?

Each teacher says how they meet. Online sessions use your teacher’s video call link, which you see once you book. In-person sessions happen where your teacher tells you.

What if I can’t make it?

Cancel up to 24 hours before and the session comes back to you, so you can book another hour.

How do I pay?

Choose a package in your account and we’ll email you how to pay. Your sessions are added as soon as the payment is done.
