Engaging
Every class is about speaking. You practice real situations with your classmates from the first day, and you'll have fun doing it. We love making friends from all over the world.
About us
We're a small Spanish school with teachers from Latin America. We help adults go from their first hello to relaxed conversations, one evening a week.
Latanish began a few years ago as a personal project of our founder, Cristian Valderrama, a Spanish teacher from Colombia who also teaches in a Dual Language Immersion program in Driggs, Idaho. It started with one simple idea: people learn a language by speaking it, with a teacher who cares and a culture that makes it fun.
What began as one-on-one lessons grew into a school with small groups, a clear program of 10 levels and our own learning platform.
Today our students learn in groups of 4 to 6 people, in person and online. Between classes, they review with flashcards, class materials and practice activities on the Latanish platform, so every class builds on the last one.
We believe in the power of learning to change lives. That's why we're committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Language and culture go together. Music, food, traditions and the way people really talk in Latin America are part of every level. ¡Sabor!
Life happens. If you miss a class, catch up with that week's materials on the platform and join a make-up session. Classes are in person and online.
Our teachers
Each of our teachers brings years of experience teaching languages, and a lot of patience.
A Spanish teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to all ages. Outgoing, charismatic and easygoing, he loves teaching his first language, its culture and traditions.
